Ephesians 4:15
Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow in every way into him who is the head, into Christ
I’ve always been told to be careful of the words I choose. For you never know from day to day which ones you’ll have to eat. Some days I get it right, sometimes I don’t. So here is the question the holy spirit proposes to all of us today.
“When was the last time you truly thought about how much power your words possess?”
I think for most of us, we don’t realize the weight of our words. But words matter. In all the ways God could have created the world, how did he choose to do it? With words.
Our words matter. Every time we open our mouths, we have a chance to undo the deceitful works of the enemy around us. When we speak God’s words, in God’s love, we build up what the enemy has destroyed.
Love builds up what lies have torn down. Let’s walk in the power of that truth today. Make it s great day and speak life over everything and everyone today.
