“Be Still and Know”
Scripture: “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” – Psalm 46:10 (NIV)
Take a moment today to pause and acknowledge God’s presence in your life.
When life feels chaotic, remember to be still and trust that He is in control. Now remember being still is more than just physical rest—it’s a posture of our hearts. It’s letting go of anxiety, fear, and the urge to always be “doing.” It’s an invitation to rest in God’s unchanging character. When we slow down, we allow God to remind us of His sovereignty and faithfulness. In every season, whether joyful or challenging, He is God and He is always working on our behalf.
Trusting God in the stillness helps us recognize His voice more clearly and strengthens our faith when answers seem delayed. Instead of striving for solutions, choose to sit at His feet, just as Mary did, focusing on the “better part” (Luke 10:42). As you intentionally create space to listen, let God’s peace settle your heart and guide your steps. Sometimes the greatest breakthroughs come not through our actions, but through the quiet moments of simply knowing that He is God.
Let this be a time of releasing your worries, centering your thoughts on His Word, and finding deep, abiding peace in His presence.
