John 8:31-32
So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, if you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.

Truth is the absolute standard by which reality should be measured. It’s God’s view on any subject matter.

This truth lives outside of us. In other words, if it’s true then it doesn’t matter whether we agree with it or not. It doesn’t matter whether we feel it or not. If it’s truth, it is true because God says it is. That means there’s no such thing as my truth and your truth.

We may have belief and perspective, but when it comes to what is true that has already been decided by God himself. Which leads me to say that
our greatest challenge then, is to adjust to God’s point of view on every subject. And in his word, God has given us absolute truth.

For example, when scripture says “no weapon formed against you shall prosper.” So truth is, when it comes to the enemy, it’s not what they say about you that matters. It’s what you say about you that threatens your destiny.

You will never be defeated by what they say about you. You will be delayed even defeated by what you say about you.

Beloved, Hold on to the promise of God’s truth.
